Creating the CVS File
This feature allows you to import a CSV file to register Organizers and Participants. The CSV file can be easily generated from spreadsheet software such as Excel; you can prepare a spreadsheet with a row for every user you wish to add.
The following table details the required and optional content possible in the CSV file.

An email address not already in the system. If in your authorized domain, you will get back the system-assigned PIN; otherwise, the user will be pre-registered and emailed their credentials when invited to a conference. |

Uploading the CSV File
The procedure for bulk pre-registering participants is as follows:
- Log into zipdx.com using your email address and PIN.
- Click on the Accounts tab.
- Click on the Members link
- If your account has an authorized email domain defined you will see a link indicating “You may also register multiple users by uploading a CSV file.” Click on this link.
- Click on the Choose File link and select the CSV file.
- Click Upload
The CSV file will be scanned for syntax errors and then submitted for processing. Processing will be almost immediate, and the results will show up on the CSV Upload form. If it’s not shown after a just few seconds refresh to update the display.
CSV Results
Once the CSV file has been processed the system will show a link to download a list of results. This is another CVS file containing a row for each user registered.
If the user’s email address is at an authorized email domain, we will show you the PIN and conference code assigned for that user. You can distribute this information to your users (using, for example, a mail-merge tool).
If the user’s email address is not at an authorized email domain the PIN will not be shown. You can advise the user to fetch their PIN using our PIN/Passphrase retrieval page.
If there were any errors processing your input, they will also be shown in the Results CSV; be sure to look for possible errors.
