Each ZipDX user may be one of the following:
- Account admin – can schedule meetings and manage account(s)
- Meeting Organizer – can schedule meetings, charged to an account.
- User – not linked to an account, can only attend meetings scheduled by others.
A meeting organizer can be removed from an account, demoting them to user. Their login credentials remain valid, but they can no longer schedule conferences.
If they leave the organization, it may be preferable to disable their profile entirely. That completely eliminates their ability to log into ZipDX.
Authorized Email Domain
Every ZipDX account may have one or more “Authorized Email Domains.” This is the root domain of the email addresses of users associated with that account. For example, ABC Corp would have an authorized email domain of abc.com.
If the users email address is at an “authorized email domain” the account admin can edit or deactivate the profile via the web portal.
If the user’s email address is not at an authorized email domain, changes must be done by ZipDX support.
Administrator Access
When the Authorized Email Domain is defined, an account administrator can access the profile of any users whose email addresses reside at that domain.
