ZipDX to Participate in GALA 2016 Conference in NYC

GALA’s annual Language of Business conference is an advanced educational and networking event where language industry leaders gather to discuss, share, and debate best practices and emerging trends in translation, localization, and language technologies. We’re pleased to announce that ZipDX will be participating at GALA 2016 New York. This year’s conference is at the Marriott New York at The Brooklyn Bridge, March 20-23, 2016.

On Tuesday March 22nd David Frankel (CEO) will be participating in a think! Interpreting Master Class on “Test Driving Remote Interpreting Platforms.” This session hosted by Barry Slaughter-Olsen will present real world insights into expanding access to interpretation using new technologies.

The session will emphasize business development strategies language service providers can use to offer simultaneous interpretation in circumstances where it was previously not possible. The presentation will include live demonstrations of a trio of new services, including ZipDX multilingual conferencing.

David will share some of the lessons learned in the creation and marketing of his patented approach to achieving high-quality simultaneous interpretation (SI) over-the-phone. Launched in 2011, the ZipDX Multilingual conferencing platform was a major leap forward in expanding access to SI beyond physical conferences.
